Tibbetts, 82, Port Greville, died Thursday at home. Born in Wards Brook, he was a son of the late Burton and Annie (Smith) Tibbetts. He was a master builder in the construction industry in Boston for many years. He served in the RCAF during the Second World War and was administrator of All Saints Hospital, Springhill. He was a foreman at K.P. Allens Ltd., Amherst, and for 13 years was manager of Halliday Craftsman Ltd., of Halifax and Springhill. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, Port Greville. Among the survivors is a niece, Josie Tibbetts (Mrs. Harry Tucker), of Stellarton. The remains are resting at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Grace United Church, Port Greville. Interment will be in church cemetery. Donations may be made to Grace United Church. Posted for information only.
