Born in Sydney Mines, she was a daughter of the late George and Lillian (Rudolph) MacDonald. She was a member of Salvation Army Westville Corps. She lived in Pictou County most of her life and was a member of League of Mercy and Home League. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by five daughters, Lillian Tye, Toronto; Joyce (Mrs Raymond Clooney), Hubbards; Joan Deagle, Halifax; Yvonne (Mrs Len MacDonald), Spryfield; Nancy (Mrs Terry Crosby), Salt Springs; four sons, David, Grande Cache, Alta.; John, McLennan's Mountain; William, Coalburn; Patrick, Westville; 46 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, David; a son, Robert; a sister, Gertrude Porter; a grandchi! ld; a great-grandchild. Funeral was held Saturday, Mar. 26 in the Salvation Army Citadel, Westville, Lt. Ken Graham officiating. Spring burial in Lorne Street Cemetery, New Glasgow. Posted for information only.
