Born in Loch Broom, Pictou County, she was the youngest daughter of the late John James and MInnie (MacCullum) McCabe. She was a nurse and worked for many years at her profession. She is survived by her husband, William, Seminole; two brothers, Garfield, Stellarton; William, Loch Broom; two sisters, Lizzie Hawboldt, Green's Point, Trenton, and Edna MacPhail, Stellarton. She was predeceased by a brother, George; a sister, Jane Chennel, and a sister, Violet, who died in infancy. Her remains were cremated and will be brought back to Pictou County for interment. A memorial service was held in Seminole. Posted for information only.
