Born in Whitstone, North London, Eng., she was the daughter of the late H.A. and Kathleen (Stanley) Crowch. She was a registered nurse, graduate of the Royal Middlesex Hospital, London. She moved to Canada in 1952 and worked at the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, Nfld. She moved to Pictou County in 1967. Surviving are her husband Fred; one daughter, Jill (Mrs. Gilbert Ross), Halifax; two sons, Anthony, Ottawa; Geoffrey, Grand Prairie, Alta.; and one brother, Eric, Nassau, Bahamas. The remains will rest at the McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou after 7 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Pictou United Church. Interment will be in the Seaview Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Posted for information only.
