Born in Pictou Landing, he was a son of the late Levi and Sarah (Francis) Syliboy. He served overseas during the Second World War and lived in Indian Brook since 1946. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Alice Paul; four sons, Bernie, Vincent, Peter, all of Indian Brook; Andrew, Roxbury, Mass.; five daughters, Alexanderine, Sarah (Mrs Ronald Boutillier), Bernadette (Mrs Isaac Marr), Sharon (Mrs Michael Boutillier), all of Indian Brook; Catherine, Roxbury, Mass.; a brother, Joseph, Indian Brook; a sister, Mary Bernard, Pictou Landing; 27 grandchildren; a great-grandson. He was predeceased by a daughter, two infant children, a sister, three brothers. Funeral service was Tuesday, June 28 in St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, Indian Brook. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Posted for information only.
