In 1881 census, Mary Christina was living with an Aunt and Uncle, Hugh and Nancy Cameron, in Hardwood Hill N.S. c.1871, Albert H. lived with his Grandfather Donald MacGregor who came from Scotland. He was apparently raised by him. the story is that John G. shot himself by accident. Wondering why this family would have split up. The mother, Christina (MacGregor) moved to Boston, and died there. She may have taken some of the children there with her.
