Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Phyllis (McInnis) Robson and the late Charles Robson. A lifelong resident of Thorburn, he was a mechanic with Stewart Williams and Sons Ltd., Sutherlands River, and a former employee of the Department of Highways for nine years. He is survived by his wife, the former Lynn Campbell; a son, Charles, at home; three sisters, Cecelia (Mrs Harold Lowe), McLellan Mountain; Margaret and Darlane, both of Ottawa; Brenda (Mrs Kevin MacLeod), Thorburn; two brothers, John, Merigomish; Derrick, Thorburn. Funeral service ws held Friday, May 22, in Union Presbyterian Church, Thorburn, Rev. John Openshaw officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
