Born in St. George's Channel, she was a daughter of the late Phillip and Catherine (MacKinnon) MacInnes. She was a member of First United Church, Trenton, Golden Link Rebekkah Lodge, and the Canadian Red Cross Society, from which she received a service award. She is survived by a daughter, Jean, Chance Harbour; a brother, Hugh, Dundee. She was predeceased by her husband, William; two brothers, John and Malcolm. Funeral was held Thursday, Mar. 24 in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, Rev. Alfred Woodworth officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross Society.
