She was born in Bridgeville and was the former Florence Chisholm, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Robert Chisholm. She was a member of Bridgeville United Church and was active in women’s’ organizations at St. Columba Church. She is survived by one sister, Bessie (Mrs. Paul Fraser) – Hopewell. Her husband predeceased her as did six brothers and one sister. The body is resting at Ross Funeral Parlour, New Glasgow. Funeral service to be held 2 p.m. Thursday from Bridgeville United Church with service conducted by Rev. A.T. MacDonald.
