Daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Alphine Grant, French River, Pictou Co. Mrs. Simpson would have been 81 today. She was born in French River but for the last few years has lived in Salem. Her husband, Daniel, predeceased her. Surviving are four sons: Douglas – Montreal, James and Lee of French River, Grant – Vancouver, two daughters, Margaret (Mrs. Robert MacCunn) – Salem, and Muriel (Mrs. Philip Dodds) – New York. Mrs. Simpson was a member of the WMS of Salem Presbyterian Church. Funeral service will be held at the church today at 2 p.m. with interment in French River cemetery.
