She was born at Hammonds Plains, Halifax County the daughter of Amos and Ophelia (Haverstock) Thomas. Surviving are a nephew and a niece. The body is at the Angus Funeral Home, King Street, New Glasgow where the funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Lorne St. Cemetery.
