Born in New Glasgow she was the former Anna Mortimer Thompson, daughter of the late John and Catherine (Cameron) Thompson. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow and lived on Foord Street, Stellarton most of her married life until moving to her son’s residence on MacKay Street. She is survived by a son, Robert – Stellarton; one brother, Wally – New Glasgow; one sister; Mrs. Helen Grant – Glace Bay; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert, two sisters and one brother. The body is at the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton where funeral service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. Rev. J. Donald MacKay officiating. Burial will be in Lorne Street Cemetery.
