Hi folks, Does anyone have information regarding the family of Catherine McKENZIE who married James FRASER (Simon) of The Island, East River? Apparently they lived in New Glasgow for a time, with James working in the shipyard. James would have been born around 1800 to 1815 time period. I have no dates or information regarding birth, marriage or deaths. Catherine had six brothers and two sisters, all born at Centerdale, to James McKENZIE Sr. and Nancy McMillan from Urquhart, Inverness-shire, Scotland. Her brothers were: Donald, Hugh, William, Duncan, Finlay, and James. Sisters were Margaret and Elizabeth. James Fraser is the son of Simon and Ann Fraser, brother of Alexander, Charles, Frederick and William of The Island, East River. Any help would be appreciated as I've only recently been able to confirm the existence of James Fraser being a brother to my gg grandfather, Charles Fraser. Cheers, Rick MacNeil
