Born in Tatamagouche, he was a son of Charles and the late Ella (Laurie) Ross. He was a retired miner, having worked in Cape Breton and Ontario. He served five years in the armed forces. He is survived by his wife, the former Shirley Ingemansen; three daughters and a son all at home; a sister and a half-brother. Funeral was held Monday, May 23, at MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John, Mr. Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Denmark.
