Funeral service was held today. The Pictou Advocate, Wednesday, January 26, 1987 - Charles Perley Shea, 81, of Three Brooks, Pictou County, died Friday, Jan. 23 in Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital, Pictou. Born in Tatamagouche, he was son of the late Marmaduke and Amelia (Marr) Shea. He was a retired employee of Ferguson Industries, Pictou. He is survived by his wife, the former Minnie Tattrie; two daughters, Rose (Mrs Herbert Sinclair), Pictou; Beatrice (Mrs Austin Sinclair), Country Harbour; a half-sister, Helen (Mrs Fred Waugh), Tatamagouche; a half-brother, John Marr, Truro; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday. Burial was in Haliburton Cemetery, Pictou. Donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
