This site has been very helpful and we are requesting some additional help. We will only have about two days available and want to make the visit as meaningful as possible. My question is . . . what would be the best use of our time and where should we visit? We have some fairly complete information that generally stops in NS. We want to see if we can find information on how our Fraser's got to NS, look over the property that was theirs, etc. and follow-up any leads back to Scotland. My Grandfather was Simon Fraser, (b: 31 Aug 1863, Pictou, Nova Scotia, d: 7 Feb 1901, LA, CA), son of John (b:11 Jan 1824, Pictou, Nova Scotia) and Catherine (Matheson) (b: 23 Sep 1825, Wilken's Grant Pictou, Nova Scotia) Any assistance to make our visit and our mining efforts as fruitful as possible would be appreciated.
