Born in Stellarton he was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Jack Copeland. Mr. Copeland and his brother ran a trucking business for a short period with the RCAF during the war. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and past noble grand member of the IOOF. Surviving are his wife, the former Florence Carrigan, two sons; Brady and Ian and a small daughter, a brother, Collard, two sisters; Marjorie and Rhoda (Mrs. Arthur MacKay) - Stellarton. His remains are resting at the home of his brother and sister on Pennsylvania Avenue and the funeral will be on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 from the home. Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery.
