Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late John and Catherine O'Brien. She was a member of St. Lawrence Parish, Mulgrave, and the CWL. She was a former member of the Canadian Red Cross. She is survived by a daughter; two sons; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, James; a daughter; great-grandchild; several brothers and sisters. Funeral was Friday, Apr. 8 in St. Lawrence Church, Rev. Bernie MacAdam officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Lawrence Parish Cemetery Fund.
