Williams – 89, of Glen Haven Manor and formerly of Barney’s River died Thursday in the manor. Born in Barney’s River she was the former Bessie M. Bruce, a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Hector Bruce. She was a member of Kenzieville Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two daughters; Betty (Mrs. Walter Fry) – Wasaga Beach, Ontario and Violet (Mrs. Kenneth Fellows) – Montreal; four sons; Rev. James Williams – Toronto; Sidney and Bruce both of Montreal; and Fraser – Winnipeg; 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband. The body is at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. in Kenzieville Presbyterian Church. Burial in Glen Bard Cemetery.
