Harris Cameron – 61, of Lower Barney’s River died Friday in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Abercrombie he was the son of Halver and Minnie (Crawford) Cameron. He was a fisherman and member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Mildred Arbuckle; three sons, Rick – Lower Barney’s River; Dana – Stellarton; Terry – Norway House, Manitoba; two sisters, Bess (Mrs. Clarence Atwater) – New Glasgow; Jean (Mrs. Lloyd Smith) – Lower Barney’s River; five brothers, Barry – Lower Barney’s River; Bill – Linacy; Don, Carl and Earl all of Ontario; four grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother, Lindy. The body is at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church. Burial will be! in Murray’s Point Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
