(Issie) Cumming of Marsh Street, New Glasgow died Wednesday in Aberdeen Hospital. Born in New Glasgow she was the former Elizabeth Grant, daughter of the late Duncan and Anne (Hudson) Grant. She was a member of Trinity United Church and the church women’s association, the IODE, and the Progressive Conservative Women’s Association. She is survived by one daughter, Catherine Thompson – New Glasgow, and one son, Donald – New Zealand; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. L.F. Cumming and by one brother. The body is at the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Dr. Roy DeMarsh officiating. Burial will be in the Telford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to any charity.
