Born in James River he was a son of the late William H. and Dorcas (Taylor) Williams. He was a mechanic and lumberman in the James River area. He is survived by his wife, Sarah; a son, James – Dartmouth; a daughter, Linda (Mrs. James Dewar) – James River; a sister, Anne Robertson – Avondale; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Reg; a brother, Wentworth; and a sister, Kathleen. The body is at MacIsaac’s Funeral Home after 2 p.m. today. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Bethel Presbyterian Church, Marshy Hope, Rev. Patrick Maxham officiating. Burial will be in Glen Bard Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Martha’s Building for Health Fund.
