Born in Bayport, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Arabella (Zinck) Conrad. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of Central United Church, Lunenburg, and the Women's Institute. She was active in sewing for the Red Cross. She is survived by a son; two daughters, including Isabel (Mrs William Moore), New Glasgow; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Willet; a granddaughter. Funeral service will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday (today) in Central United Church, Rev. Donald MacPherson officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. Family flowers only.
