Born in Central Caribou, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mariam (Heughan) Robertson. He was a member of the Pictou United Church. He was a retired cabinetmaker and a former employee of Ferguson Industries. He is survived by a daughter, Joan (Mrs. Alex MacKay), Riverview, N.B.; two sons: James, Central Caribou; Earl, Three Brooks; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; 10 sisters: Elizabeth (Mrs. William Fraser), Halifax; Zeta (Mrs. Wesley Clark), Jean (Mrs. Alfred Bingley) and Muriel (Mrs. Morris Langille), all of Pictou; Marion (Mrs. Raymond Thompson), London, Ont.; Eleanor (Mrs. Reg Anderson), Durham; Isabel (Mrs. Clark Dunn), Truro; Della (Mrs. Clifford Morris), Westville; Pauline (Mrs. Malcolm MacLean), Ottawa; Doris (Mrs. Jack Murray) of Scotsburn; four brothers: Al! onzo, Seattle; Gordon and Douglas, both of Lyons Brook; Alison, Parry Sound, Ont. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Lyla MacDonald; two brothers, Smith and Roy. Funeral service was held today in Pictou United Church. Interment was in Seaview cemetery.
