Born in Greenwood, Pictou County, she was a daughter of Mrs Mary (Dwyer) Wilson and the late Frank Wilson. She was a former employee of the department of environment, and a member of the Wesleyan Church, where she was a choir member for several years. She was also a chairman of the ladies auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Jack; three stepdaughters, three sisters, including Louise (Mrs Joseph Fraser), Pictou Landing and Norma (Mrs Colin McInnis), Trenton; and six grandchildren. Funeral was held Thursday, May 26 at Mattatall's Funeral Home, Truro, Rev. Dennis Guptil and Rev. W.D. Moore officiating. Burial will be in Old Barns Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Wesleyan Church building fund, or any charity. Posted for information only.
