Carl Roy b. 3 May 1897 of Merigomish. He was the son of George W. Roy b. 24 Nov 1862 and Margaret (Ross) b. 4 Apr 1872 also of Merigomish, Pictou Co. There were four siblings: 1) Emma May b. 27 Oct 1894 married to Walter Smith 2) Florence B. b. 21 Oct 1898 married to Wm. F. Smith 3) Edward Day b. 1907 married to Hilda Lavinia Mason 4) Frederick Arnold b. 1904 married to Mae Loretta MacKinlay I am related through Hilda Mason which is why I have the information. I suspect that your Karl and the one that I have quoted to you are one and the same. I have not gone back much further than this. I don't have any other details on James. I hope that this helps. David
