Here is a bit of help regarding John McLean and his wife Jessie. They are listed in the Stone Book as being buried in the cemetery on Pictou Island. As far as I know, there is only one cemetery on the island. It reads like this. John McLean (1837-1930) and his wife Jessie (1845-1916). I could find nothing on Mary belle McLean, but perhaps she was the last of the family to be buried there and there was no one left to have her name added to the family stone. Don't be misled by the "Mc" instead of the "Mac". Back in those days they were all "Mc's". Robert M.
