Born in Stellarton, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Jessie B. (MacPherson) Munro. She lived in Stellarton all her life and was a member of Christ Anglican Church where she was secretary treasurer for many years. She was a member of Harmony Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as first worthy matron. She was a member of Red Cross. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; a sister, Isabelle; two brothers, Robert and Donald. Funeral service was held Saturday, July 9, in Christ Anglican Church, Rev. Calvin Russell officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Posted for information only.
