He was my great grandfather. His daughter Ida May MacMillan was my grandmother. Mary informed me some time ago that Margaret Catherine Muir's parents were Alexander Muir and Margaret Fraser. What else do you know? There seems to be some confusion as to when Alexander MacMillan died, and where.
