Born in North Sydney, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Bridget (Audou) Maxwell. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Church and of the ladies Auxiliary Branch #19, Royal Canadian Legion. She is survived by her husband, John; four daughters, two sons, four brothers, including Robert, New Glasgow; three sisters, seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by an infant sister. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday (today) June 1 in St. Joseph's Church, Rev. Raymond King officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Posted for information only.
