THere are two Genealogy groups in Pictou County. One is at the Pictou County Genealogy and Heritage site in Pictou, The Hector Center. THe other group is the Pictou Roots Society.THe meet the second Tursday of the month at 7:00 in the program room upstairs in the library, elevator available. Guests welcome. The will ask f there are any visitors and if you had a short note explaining who you were looking for, you could then explain without forgetting the important stuff. The Pictou Group meets the third monday, but there is more genealogy in the Roots Society as thet is their main interest.
