Fisher, 82, retired Pictou County farmer died yesterday in Aberdeen Hospital. He was a son of the late William and Jane Fisher and was born at Fisher’s Mills, Guysborough County. He farmed at Avondale until he was forced to retire due to failing health. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Glenelg. Surviving are four sisters: Ella (Mrs. John A. MacLean) – Coulee Dam, Washington, Clara (Mrs. Walter Smith) – Avondale, Jean (Mrs. Ernest Hattie) – Glenelg, Guysborough County, Wilma (Mrs. Alfred Arbuckle) – New Glasgow, and a brother, Harry in Wiarton, West Virginia, two brothers, John and Russell, are dead. His body is at the Ross Funeral Home, MacDonald Street and the funeral service is at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow from Glenelg Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in the Glenelg Evergreen Cemetery.
