Born in Kemptville, she was a daughter of the late Melford and Etta (Hurlburt) Prime. She has been a resident of Glen Haven Manor for the past four years, having previously lived in New Glasgow, Eureka and Yarmouth. She was a long-time member of Calvary Temple Pentecostal Church, New Glasgow. She is survived by two sons, Earl, Abercrombie; Mel, Kings Head; two daughters, Faith Morgan and Helen (Mrs. John Christie), both of New Glasgow; a brother, Gordon, Berwick; a sister, Mrs. Eva Ring, Lynn, Mass.; nine grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, James; a daughter, Beth; four brothers, Stewart, Stanley, Harold and George; two sisters, Nellie and Ada. The body is in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, with visiting after 7 p.m. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26 in Christian Fellowship Church, New Glasgow,! Pastor Bruce Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery. Donations may be made to any charity.
