Born in Sydney Mines, she was a daughter of James and the late Annie Mae (MacLean) Blinkhorn. She is survived by her husband, John A.; five sons, including Calvin, New Glasgow; two daughters; four brothers; two sisters. There will be no visitation. Memorial mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday (today), July 6 in St. Pius X Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
