MacPherson, 77, of 659 Trenton Road, New Glasgow, died Wednesday, Feb. 10 in Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Bailey's Brook, she was a daughter of the late Duncan L. and Mildred (Day) MacDonald. She lived in New Glasgow most of her life and worked as a practical nurse at Sunset Haven for several years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, a charter member of the CWL, and a member of the altar society. She is survived by a brother, Dougall, Bailey's Brook; two sisters, Tilley (Mrs Hugh D. MacLellan), Clydesdale; Peggy (Mrs Ray MacLean), Lismore. She was predeceased by her husband, J. Bernard; a brother, Donald; a sister, Mildred. Funeral service was Saturday, Feb. 20 in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Spring burial is in Holy Cross Cemetery, New Glasgow. Note - the newspaper headline reads: Annie G. MacPherson, 71, of New Glasgow
