Born in Cambridge, P.E.I., she was a daughter of the late William and Eliza (Miller) Finlay. She was a member of Trinity United Church. She is survived by her husband, Edwin; three daughters, Marion (Mrs Gordon Forward), Trenton; Nancy Lynn MacDonald, London, Ont.; Ruth (Mrs Barrie Murray), New Glasgow; a son, J. Robert, New Glasgow; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Marion; two brothers, Howard and Clarence. Funeral service was held Saturday, Feb. 6, at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, Rev. Howard Clark, Rev. Don Murray and Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Nova Scotia Heart Foundation.
