Born in Trenton, he was a son of the late Angus and Jeanetta (Lucas) MacNeil. He was a retired employee of Hawker Siddeley Ltd., a member of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Trenton, and a veteran of the Second World War. He is survived by three sisters, Anna (Mrs Ronald MacMillan) and Mae (Mrs Henry Marcott), both of New Glasgow; Jean (Mrs Bert Martin), Coalburn; four brothers, Jim, New Glasgow; Lawrence (Babs), Westville; Butch, Trenton; John, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by an infant brother. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday (today), Apr. 13 in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Bill Rankin officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Heart Fund.
