MacKay, 77, Marshdale Road, Hopewell, Pictou County, died Sunday, Mar. 20 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in MacLellan's Brook, she was a daughter of the late Norman D. and Eliza Jane (Lund) MacLeod. She lived in the Hopewell area most of her married life. She was a member of St. Columba United Church, Hopewell. Surviving are three daughters, Donna (Mrs Douglas Falconer), Rothesay, N.B.; Lorna (Mrs George Fagan), at home; Afton (Mrs Patrick Very), Chilliwack, B.C.; two sons, Grant, Germany and Brent, British Columbia; a brother, Thomas, Churchville; eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry A.; two grandsons, four sisters and four brothers. Funeral service will be held Wednesday (today) at 2 p.m. in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Spring burial will be in Castle Hill Cemetery, MacLellan's Brook. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Nova ! Scotia Heart Foundation.
