(Dick) MacPherson, 64, Butler Dr., Bible Hill, died Thursday, April 7, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Westville, he was a son of the Elvie (Gladwin), New Glasgow, and the late Jack MacPherson. He was a veteran of the Second World War. He was a community health worker with the Nova Scotia Commission on Drug Dependency for 13 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 26, Truro, and adherent of St. James' Presbyterian Church, Truro. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine (Lorimer); two daughters, Linda (Mrs Frank Somer), Toronto; Margaret Anne (Mrs Stephen Taylor), Chatham, Ont.; a son, Nelson, Bible Hill; a brother, James (Ted), Westville; a sister, Edith (Mrs Murray Lochead), Toronoto; six grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers. Funeral was held Monday, April 11 in St. James Presbyterian Church, Truro, Rev. Clair MacLeod officiatiing. Burial was in Auburn Cemeter! y, Westville.
