    3. I don't have the Tatamagouche book Kathleen, but I see that the Land Grant Map for Tatamagouche is number 78, one I don't have have..... but it can be ordered from the NS Dept of Natural Resources for only $5. The url is :"http://www.gov.ns.ca/natr/library/histmaps.htm#crown" to get the phone number and instructions. I've ordered from them before and they are very helpful folk. If you find out that your Roberts fellow did in fact obtain a grant, they will photocopy the grant document for you at a small fee as well. They have a top quality copier too! Good luck! I have heard 'by way of the grapevine' that in one of the above-named books a ROBERTS is mentioned as having received a land grant in Bayhead, Colchester County as a reward for serving as a soldier in a war for the British. I would be grateful to anyone who may be able to help me in regards to this. >Kathleen >plister@nbnet.nb.ca >
