Born in Peasbrook, Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Harriett (Dort) Dort. She is survived by her husband, John; a son, Stanley, Yarmouth; two grandchildren; two brothers: Harvey, Peasbrook; George, Glace Bay; two sisters: Jessie Dort, Peasbrook; Mrs Clisse NIckerson, Eastern Shore. She was predeceased by two sisters: Clara and Charity. The remains are resting in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Yarmouth. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday from Huskilson's Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Yarmouth.
