Martin, 74, of Middle Melford, died Thursday, Feb. 11 in Moncton Hospital. Born in Middle Melford, he was a son of the late John J. and Teresa (Laurie) Martin. He was a resident of Moncton for 25 years, where he worked as a machinist in the CN shops. Prior to moving to Moncton, he lived in Sydney and Truro. He was a member of the Anglican Church. He is survived by three sisters, including Mary (Mrs. A. England), Stellarton. He was predeceased by a sister; two brothers. Funeral was held Saturday, Feb. 13 in Eagles Funeral Home, Rev. Calvin Russell officiating. The body was cremated.
