Born in Stellarton, she was a daughter of David A. McLean and the late Lillian D. Osborne. She lived in Toronto for the past number of years. She was an adherent of the United Church and an active volunteer with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Rehabilitation Centre. Surviving besides her father are three brothers, Arthur, Westville; Edwin, Greenwood, Pictou County; Melford, Stellarton; five sisters, Mrs Elizabeth Seymour, New Hampshire; Bertha (Mrs Andrew Somero), Connecticut; Agnes (Mrs Ralph Peters), Toronto; Katherine McLean and Gladys (Mrs Richard Lynch), both of Stellarton. She was predeceased by a brother, Woody; three sisters, Laura, Emyline and Hazel. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sharon St. John United Church, Stellarton, Rev. Norman MacDougall officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.! Donations may be made to any charity.
