Born in Plainfield, he was a son of the late Alexander and Christine (MacDonald) Murray. He was a retired farmer and a member of West Branch United Church. He is survived by two nieces, Frances (Mrs Alfred Nowlan), New Glasgow; Mrs Thelma Lumsden, Trenton; a nephew, Everett, New Glasgow. He was predeceased by a brother, Rev. E.D.; three sisters, Marion, Catherine, Annie. Funeral was held Saturday, Jan. 2 at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, Rev. Donald Murray officiating. Spring burial will be in West Branch Cemetery.
