In my McRae research I've found that Jane Ann McRae, d.o. Donald and Nancy, married John Elliott of Cape John on 21 May 1872. In the 1881 census Jane Elliott was living, along with her daughter Maggie, with her father Donald McRae in Hopewell, but no husband John Elliott. Does any of this help ? So far I can't find the family name of Donald's wife, Nancy(Annie). Any thoughts ?
