Born in Toronto, he was a son of Carl and Jean (Langley) NIchols. A resident of Halifax since January, he previously lived in Stellarton. A graduate of Stellarton High School, he received a diploma as a first class welder in Calgary and was a welder with Lunenburg Engineering and Foundry Ltd. He was a member of Sharon St. John United Church, Stellarton. Besides his parents, he is survived by a son, Cole, Vancouver; two sisters, Debra (Mrs Walter Campbell), Chance Harbour; Laura, University of Maine, Orono; maternal grandmother, Mrs Elmer Langley, Halifax; paternal grandmother, Mrs Colburn Nichols, Stellarton. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday (today) in Sharon St. John United Church, Rev. Norman MacDougall officiating. Burial will be in Fox Brook Cemetery. Donations may be made to any charity.
