The New Glasgow Evening News, Saturday, April 4, 1987 - SUTHERLAND'S RIVER - The funeral service for William J. Magee was held Monday, March 30 in the Angus Funeral home, New Glasgow. The service was conducted by Rev. Donald Mackay who brought a comforting message to the bereaved family. Burns MacDonald, organist, accompanied a solo It Is No Secret, sung by Clarence Fraser. Members of the Thorburn Choir sang the 23rd Psalm and Abide With Me. Honorary pallbearers were members of Caledonia No. 28 Oddfellows Lodge, Hopewell. Spring interment will take place in Riverton Cemetery.
