West River-- William Tupper, a well-known farmer in this community, passed away at the Dudka Nursing Home New Year's Eve in his eight-first year. He had been a patient at the Nursing Home for two weeks and prior to that had been a patient in the Aberdeen Hospital. Of recent years, he had resided with his daughter, Mrs. Wilson Murray of Gairloch. Mr. Tupper is survived by his daughter and one son, Rod Tupper, Truro. He was an elder of the West River Bethel Presbyterian Church from where the funeral will be held Friday at 2 o'clock.
