Born in Killwinning, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Clark) Gibson. She was a resident of West River farming community since 1927. She was a member of St. James United Church, Antigonish. She is survived by two sons: Jim, East River; Bill, Geraldton, Ont.; five daughters: Betty (Mrs. Victor Baillie), Scotch Hill; Mary (Mrs. Tom Etheridge), North East Margaree; Annie MacDonald, Antigonish; Emma (Mrs. William Wilmot), Geary, N.B.; Margaret (Mrs. Tom Pitts), Cloverville Road; 27 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean, England. She was predeceased by her husband, William; three brothers, a sister and a grandchild. The remains will rest in MacIsaac's Funeral Home, Antigonish after 7 p.m. today. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.! Saturday at St. James United Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Donations may be made to the Martha Home Health Care.
