Born in Plainfield, she was a daughter of the late John Robert and Rilda MacLeod. She lived all her life in East Branch and was a member of West Branch United Church, the church choir and the United Church Women. She is survived by her husband, Donald; four daughters, Betty (Mrs Rod Stephens) and Ruth (Mrs Stan Pepruskavich), both of Toronto; Carol (Mrs Eugene Eisnor), Bedford; Janet (Mrs Bob MacLean), Stellarton; three sons, Jack, Toronto; Clarence, Stellarton; Carmen, Windsor, Ont.; 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Alex Sutherland; a son, Alex; two brothers; a sister. Funeral service was held Thursday, Dec. 31 in West Branch United Church, Rev. Douglas Cameron officiating. Burial was in the West Branch Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart Foundat! ion or any charity.
